- I struggled daily with injecting myself
Hello my name is David and I am a teacher in Sydney, I have been using INJEX now for the last 12 months. It has made a vast improvement to quality of life and my peace of mind. I have not been a diabetic long; I was only diagnosed 2 years ago. It was a dramatic change in my life and I was daunted by the fact that even as a child I hated even the sight of a needle, now to have to inject myself multiple times a day was a nightmare come true. I struggled daily with injecting myself and my health suffered when I would delay or even skip a shot knowing full well that I had to have it. It was my fear of needles that caused this and at the time I would do anything I could to avoid it. Being an educator it was always a problem for me to dispose of my needles safely and there was always a thought for the students that I teach. Then I was introduced to the INJEX needleless injection system of course I looked at a range of others and was dubious of the effectiveness of such a claim, I done a lot of research and spoke to the man in charge for injex in Australia and he was very helpful. INJEX was also the best on price that I could find. I ordered one with a range of attachments to suit and decided to give it a try. I can honestly say that I have never put off or missed an injection since that day! Aside from the initial cost of the unit itself it is not much more expensive to use this system and it is a cost I have no problem paying to not have to look at another needle. I do not have to worry about sharps disposal at work anymore as there are no sharps to deal with. And I do not worry about my bag at family events where the children are, as no harm can come to them unlike when I was using needles or a pen. Over all I am really just writing this as a thank you for a product that has drastically improved my life and health and alleviated my problems with needles in general. For anyone in my situation I highly recommend the INJEX system.
- I initially made the change as insulin needles were distressing to young members of my family.
I have been using the Injex for around 4 months. I initially made the change as insulin needles were distressing to young members of my family. After the Injex, I will not be returning to using needles as this method has proved safe and virtually painless.
At first, I needed to educate myself on using the correct technique and this information is easily accessed via the Injex web page. I find the device simple to use and much more practical than needles as I do not have the added problem of disposing sharps.
There was an upfront cost in purchasing the device and kit although this device has eased much anxiety within our family, so for us it is more than worth the money. I would certainly purchase this product again if needed.
- Takes away a lot of the complications
Dear Injex, I recently purchased the Injex30 device as a way of having Insulin injections for my diabetes. It has become something I am very happy to use as it takes away a lot of the complications of diabetes and having injections. The Injex30 is a very simple device to use, being quite painless is a very nice bonus and I am not concerned about having my Insulin in public as I was when I had to use needles. When I first came across the Injex30 device I was surprised that I was able to purchase the device in Australia as most other devices on the Internet were overseas and weren’t available in Australia. I’ve shown my Injex to my friends and have been recommending it to the other diabetics that I know who would love to get one. Kind Regards, Steven G (A very satisfied customer) Salisbury. S.A.
